About NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a scheme valid throughout Australia, founded by the Australian government to offer support, financial or otherwise, to people with disabilities of any kind, may it be intellectual or physical in nature.
While funded support is a key component of NDIS. Offering financial support is not the only goal of NDIS but through the various services covered by an NDIS plan like assistance with daily tasks, transportation, community nursing care, etc., it ensures their overall well-being.

NDIS prioritises the agency of the participants over anything, depending upon the choice of the participant themselves, the support extended could be as much or as little
as possible.
